Installation – “Razzle Dazzle”

Razzle Dazzle is a simple construction meant to express joy into Downtown Knoxville. The structure occupies a conventional parking lot 10′ x 20′ in size. It is built out of triangular pieces of plywood that have been painted with a unique pink hatched pattern. The triangles are fastened together to form steady shapes that can be placed on the ground or flipped upside down forming shelter. The structure is filled with optical effects that are created by the overlapping of the triangles and the pink pattern.
