The Knoxville Battlefield Loop project received honors at the annual TN ASLA Gala in Nashville. The project provides a comprehensive framework for the future development of a collection of significant cultural and historical sites located just 2 miles from downtown Knoxville. The first construction project to be implemented, the entrance to Augusta Quarry at Fort Dickerson Park, was recently approved by the City Council and will start construction this summer.
